Yes it´s true. Two days ago I quit my job as a hairstylist, so I am no longer doing hair professionally. I knew this day was coming at some point, never had a plan to work in a salon until retirement, and now I felt the time was right to pack my professional scissors for good. For all of you that I cut when I´m back home in Bergen, don´t worry I´m still going to take care of your hair 🙂
After dealing with a hard to manage diabetes and high blood pressure from stress the last year or so, I felt it was time to make a change that my diabetes and my body would thank me for. I have always told my self that my diabetes would never stand in the way of me doing something I wanted, and I still stand by that, because what I want now is to be healthy and to be able to reach a point with my diabetes where I am fit to have a baby. So my values and my focus have shifted, and thats why the job had to go. Being a hairstylist is very hard work and at times very stressful, and that is not what I need. A few months ago I started an Internet based education in Internet Marketing. This gives me allot of freedom and flexibility which is perfect for me, and as a bonus I really enjoy it.
An important part of my life is now gone, and for now it feels good. I know that I can always come back to it later on if I miss it. Now I am looking forward to an exciting future, with allot of new experiences, and the realization of some dreams that I have had locked away for quite some time now. Can´t wait to share it with you and the rest of the world.
